AN ACT to amend the Members of Parliament,

Reimbursement of Expenses, Act, 1953-1962.

[Assented to 17th December, 1965:]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Members of r:gafttlieon.

Amendment Act, 1965.

(2) In this Act the Members of Parliament, Reimbursement of Expenses, Act, 1953-1962, is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Members of Parliament, Reimbursement of Expenses, Act, 1953-1965.

A member of the Legislative Council or a Member of the Legislative Assembly while he is a Minister of the Crown or while he is the Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly is entitled up to only three-quarters of the maximum rate per annum of reimbursement shown in this Schedule as applicable to the Province or District for which that Member is elected.

4. The Second Schedule to this Act is amended
