The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the
Melbourne City Link (Start-Up Period)

Regulations 1999 to extend the start-up period.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 69 and

118 of the Melbourne City Link Act 1995.

3. Extension of start-up period

In regulation 4(a) of the Melbourne City Link

(Start-Up Period) Regulations 19991—

(a) for "3 months" substitute "the period";

(b)

after "date" insert "until the end of 31 May 2000".
