Melbourne City Link Amendment Regulations 2019

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Melbourne City Link Regulations 2019 as a consequence of the enactment of the Transport Legislation Amendment Act 2019.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 118 of the Melbourne City Link Act 1995.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 January 2020.

4Definitions

In regulation 4 of the Melbourne City Link Regulations 2019[1], the definition of Roads Corporation is revoked.

5Certificates issued under section 89(2) of the Act

In regulation 14(a) and (b) of the Melbourne City Link Regulations 2019—

(a)omit "the Roads Corporation,";

(b)for "Department" substitute "Secretary to the Department".

6Certificates issued under section 89(3A) of the Act

In regulation 15 of the Melbourne City Link Regulations 2019—

(a)in paragraph (a), for "Roads Corporation or" substitute "Secretary to";

(b)in paragraph (b)—

(i)for "Roads Corporation or" substitute "Secretary to";

(ii)omit "(as the case may be)".
