Melbourne City Link Amendment Regulations 2014

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy with the advice of the Executive Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Melbourne City Link Regulations 2009 to—

(a)prescribe a new device as a prescribed tolling device for the purposes of the Melbourne City Link Act 1995; and

(b)update a reference to Victoria Police as a consequence of the enactment of the Victoria Police Act 2013.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 118 of the Melbourne City Link Act 1995.

3Definitions

In regulation 5 of the Melbourne City Link Regulations 2009[1], in the definition of tag, for "or TS 3203/1xB)" substitute "TS 3203/1xB, or TRP4010)".

4Vehicles exempted from payment of tolls

In regulation 8(c)(i) of the Melbourne City Link Regulations 2009, for "the police force of Victoria" substitute "Victoria Police".
