1   Short title

This regulation may be cited as the Medicines and Poisons (Medicines) Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 2023.

2   Commencement

This regulation commences on 30 October 2023.

This regulation amends the Medicines and Poisons (Medicines) Regulation 2021.

4   Amendment of sch 1 (Extended practice authorities and departmental standards)

Schedule 1, part 1, entry for Pharmacists, ‘3’—
omit, insert—

Division 1A Pharmacists employed at particular places

2A   Class of person

A pharmacist who—
(a)is employed at a community pharmacy or private health facility; or
(b)is a health service employee.
