Commencement Proclamation 2016

Made under the Medicines and Poisons Act 2014 section 2(b) by the
Governor in Executive Council.

1.            Citation

This proclamation is the Medicines and Poisons Act 2014
Commencement Proclamation 2016.

2.            Commencement

The Medicines and Poisons Act 2014, other than sections 1, 2 and 14(2), comes into operation on 30 January 2017.

Notes: The Medicines and Poisons Regulations 2016 come into operation on the day

on which the Medicines and Poisons Act 2014 section 131 comes into

operation.
