Medical Research Future Fund (Crediting of Amounts) Determination 2020

We, JOSH FRYDENBERG, Treasurer, and MATHIAS HUBERT PAUL CORMANN, Minister for Finance, having had regard to the object of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015, make this determination under paragraph 15(1)(a) of that Act.

1  Name

This determination is the Medical Research Future Fund (Crediting of Amounts) Determination 2020.

2  Commencement

This determination commences on the day after it is registered.

Note: Section 42 of the Legislation Act 2003 (which deals with disallowance of legislative instruments) does not apply to this instrument: see subsection 15(3) of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015.

3  Authority

This instrument is made under paragraph 15(1)(a) of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015.

4 Crediting of Amounts

As per paragraph 15(1)(a) of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015, $3,212,050,668.00  is to be credited to the Medical Research Future Fund Special Account on 21 July 2020.

Note: The Medical Research Future Fund Special Account is established by section 14 of the Medical Research Future Fund Act 2015.
