I AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Medical Practitioners Registration

Ordinance 1930.

BE it ordained by the Governor-General of the Commonwealth Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Seat of of Australia, with the advice of the Federal Executive Government Acceptance Act 1909 and the Seat of Government
{Administration) Act 1910-1930, as follows:—

1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Medical short title.

Practitioners Registration Ordinance 1931.

(2.) The Medical Practitioners Registration Ordinance 1930 is

in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Medical Practitioners Registration Ordinance 1930-1931.

2.   Section twenty-one of the Principal Ordinance is amended— Qualifications (a) by inserting, after the word "who", the words " i s of °r r e g 9 r a OIL

good fame and character and who i s " ;

i (b) by omitting paragraph (a) ; and
(c) by omitting the letters (&) and (c) and inserting in

their stead the letters (a) and (b) respectively.

3. Section twenty-nine of the Principal Ordinance is repealed, jupeaiof sectlou 29.

4. Section thirty-two of the Principal Ordinance is amended by surrender of

adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:— removafof0"

" (2 . ) Any person who fails to comply with the provisions of Agister001

the last preceding sub-section shall be guilty of an offence.

Penalty: Five pounds for every day after the period of fourteen

days during which the certificate is not surrendered."
