HEREAS Members of the Company or Society of Apothe- ~~~~~~~,

caries of London are not, as such, legally qualified Medical

the third day of September, one thousand eight hundred and forty- four, intituled " An Ordiiiance to define the Qualifications o f Medical Practitioners in this Province for certain puqioses," as enacts that any Member of the Company of Apothecaries of London shall, on complying with the provisions of the said Ordinance, be deemed a legally qualified Medical Practitioner for the purposes therein mentioned, shall be and the same is hereby repealed.

11. And be it Enacted, That every person who shall have proved

to the satisfaction of the majority of the Members present, not being

less than three, of " The South Australian Medical Board," that he

has obtained a certificate of qualification to practise as an Apothe-

cary from theACourt of Examiners of the Society of Apothecaries of the City of London, or that he was in practice as an Apothecary prior toor on the first of August, one t6ousand cight hudred and fifteen, shall be deemed a legally qualified Medical Practitioner

within the meaning of the recited Ordinance.
