I, Rear Admiral PETER ROSS SINCLAIR, A. C., Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance o f section 2 o f the Medical Practice Act 1992, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 1993 as the day on which that Act, except section 6 , commences.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This Proclamation commences the Medical Practice Act 1992, with the exception of section 6 of the Act. Section 6 provides that a medical practitioner registered in another State or a Territory is entitled to registration as a medical practitioner in New South Wales.
