MEDICAL AMENDMENT RULES 1991

Made by the Medical Board and approved by His Excellency the Governor in

Executive Council.

Citation

1. These rules may be cited as the Medical Amendment Rules 1991.

Principal rules

2. In these rules the Medical Rules 1987* are referred to as the principal

rules.

Rule 33 amended

3. Rule 33 of the principal rules is amended by deleting paragraph (c).

Rule 33A inserted

4. After rule 33 of the principal rules the following rule is inserted —

Registered name to be used

33A. A medical practitioner shall, when advertising his medical practice, use the name by which he is registered unless he has obtained the prior written approval of the Board to use another name.
