s1 2 s4 Medical Amendment (No. 1) No. 176, 1997 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Medical Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Medical Regulation 1990 . ˙ Replacement of ss 2–4 3. Sections 2 to 4— omit, insert — ˙ ‘ Recognised specialist qualifications ‘ 2. For section 18(2) of the Act, the schedule sets out— (a) the prescribed specialties of medicine; and (b) for each specialty—the prescribed conditions that relate to a qualification in the specialty.’. ˙ Omission of sch A (Qualifications for registration as a medical practitioner) 4.
