MEDICAL AMENDMENT ACT 1991

AN ACT to amend the Medical Act 1894.

[Assented to 23 November 1991]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Medical Amendment Act 1991.

Commencement

2. This Act shall be deemed to have come into operation on the

day on which the Medical Amendment Act 1979 came into operation.

Section 11 amended

3. Section 11 of the Medical Act 1894* is amended in subsection (2) (a) by deleting "prior to the coming into operation of the Medical Amendment Act 1979" and substituting the following-

" prior to the day on which the Medical Amendment Act 1979 came into operation or within a period of 6 months after that day ".
