MEDICAL AMENDMENT ACT

No. 45 of 1988

AN ACT to amend the Medical Amendment Act 1985.

[Assented to 30 November 1988]

The Parliament of Western Australia enacts as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Medical Amendment Act 1988.

Commencement

2. This Act shall come into operation on the day that section 9 (d) of

the Medical Amendment Act 1985 comes into operation.

Section 9 amended

3. Section 9 of the Medical Amendment Act 1985* is amended in

paragraph (d)

(a)	as to new section 11 (3) by deleting "entitled to be" in paragraph (b);
(b)	as to new section 11 (4), by deleting paragraph (g); and
(c)	as to new section 11 (5), by deleting "the medical practitioner in question" and substituting the following-

" a member of the body corporate ".
