485 ANNO VICESIMO OCTAVO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 48 of 1979 An Act to amend the Medical Act and Other Acts (Adminis- tration ) Act 1966-1977 in certain particulars (ASSENTED TO 19TH NOVEMBER, 1979] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Medical Act and Other Acts (Administration) Act Amendment Act 1979. (2) The Medical Act and Other Acts (Administration) Act 1966-1977 is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may he cited as the Medical Act and Other Acts (Administration) Act1966-1979.

486 Medical Act and Other Acts (Admin) Act Amdt Act 1979, No. 48 2. Commencement . This Act shall commence on a day to be fixed by Proclamation. 3. Amendment of s. 4 . Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after the words " The Psychologists Board of Queensland constituted under the Psychologists Act1977 " the following expression and words:- 46 The Chiropractic Manipulative Therapists Board of Queensland constituted under the Chiropractic Manipulative Therapists Act1979 ". 4. Amendment of s. 14 . Section 14 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting from paragraph (i) df subsection (1) the words " or Hypnosis " and substituting the words ", Hypnosis or Chiropractic Manipulative Therapy ".
