83 (QtuPttstall,r ANNO OCTODECIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 14 of 1969 An Act to Amend The Medical Acts and Other Acts (Administration ) Act of 1966 in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 2ND DECEMBER, 1969] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled , and by the authority of the same , as follows:- 1. (1) Short title . This Act may be cited as the Medical Act and Other Acts (Administration) Act Amendment Act 1969. (2) Collective title. The Medical Acts and Other Acts (Administration)Act of1966 as amended by this Act may be cited as the Medical Actand Other Acts (Administration) Act1966-1969. 2. Amendment to s. 4 . Section 4 of The Medical Acts and OtherActs (Administration) Act of1966 is amended by inserting after the words " The Physiotherapists Acts, 1964 to 1965 " the words " ; The Chiropodists Board of Queensland constituted under the Chiropodists Act1969 ".

The Medical Acts and Other Acts(Administration) Act of1966 is amended by inserting after section 4 the following section:- " 4A. Appointment of registrar of Boards . The Governor in Council may, from time to time, appoint a person to be registrar of any one or more of the Boards referred to in section 4 of this Act. The appointee shall be appointed and shall hold his office under, subject to, and in accordance with the Public Service Act1922-1968. Any provision of an Act referred to in section 4 of this Act with respect to the office of registrar of the Board constituted under that Act and the definition " registrar " contained in that Act shall be read and applied subject to this section." 4. Status of existing registrar . If, at the date of commencement of this Act, any person holds the appointment as registrar of any one or more of the Boards referred to in section 4 of The Medical Acts andOther Acts (Administration) Act of1966 he shall be deemed to have been appointed to that office pursuant to and in accordance with that Act as amended by this Act.
