Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Meat Research Corporation Act 1985.

1.   Amendment

1.1 The Meat Research Corporation

 Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE:

 These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Regulation 2 (Interpretation)

2.2   Insert the following definition:

“‘Corporation’ means the Meat Research Corporation established by section 4 of the Act.”.

3.   Regulation 2aa (Functions of the Corporation)

3.1   For the purposes of paragraph 6 (f) of the Act the following function is conferred on the Corporation, namely, to facilitate the dissemination, adoption and commercialisation of the results of meat and livestock industry research and development.
