Meat Regulations² (Amendment)

I, GARY FRANCIS PUNCH, the Minister of State for the Arts and Territories, pursuant to section 8 of the Interpretation Ordinance 1986, hereby make the following Regulations under the Meat Ordinance 1931.

1.  The following provisions of the Meat Regulations are amended by omitting “General Manager” (wherever occurring) and substituting “Service”:

Regulation 4, subregulations 5 (1), (3) and (7), 6 (1), (2) and (4) and 7 (1) and regulation 8.

The Schedule

2.  The Schedule to the Meat Regulations is amended as set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.

AMENDMENTS OF THE SCHEDULE

FORM A—

(a)Omit “COMMONWEALTH DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH”.

(b)Omit—

“Australian Capital Territory Health Authority”,

substitute—

“Australian Capital Territory Community and Health Service”.

FORM B—

(a)Omit “COMMONWEALTH DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH”.

(b)Omit—

“General Manager,
Australian Capital Territory Health Authority”,

substitute—

“General Manager,
Australian Capital Territory Community and Health Service”.
