MEAT ORDINANCE

MEAT REGULATIONS*

REGULATIONS 1970 No. 3f

1. Regulation 1 of the Meat Regulations 1931 is amended by omitting the

figures "1931 ".

2. Regulation 5 of the Meat Regulations 1931 is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulations (1.), (4.) and (5.) the words "Two pounds " and inserting in their stead the words " Four dollars "; and

(b) by omitting sub-regulation (6.) .

3. Regulation 11 of the Meat Regulations 1931 is amended—

(a)

by omitting the words " abattoir area" (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words " abattoir or slaughtering area "; and

(b)

by omitting from sub-regulation (5.) the words " the abattoir " (second occurring) and inserting in their stead the words " a public abattoir or approved slaughtering place ".

4 . Regulation 16 of the Meat Regulations 1931 is amended by inserting after

the words " public abattoir" (wherever occurring) the words " or approved

slaughtering place ".

5 . Regulation 17 of the Meat Regulations 1931 is amended by inserting after

the words " public abattoir" (wherever occurring) the words " or approved

slaughtering place ".

6 . Regulation 22 of the Meat Regulations 1931 is amended by omitting the

words " Fifty pounds" and inserting in their stead the words " One hundred
dollars ".

7. The Schedule to the Meat Regulations 1931 is amended by omitting from Form A the symbol and figure " £2 " and inserting in their stead the symbol and figure " $4 ".
