I, the Governor, acting under section 2 of the Meat Industry Legislation (Amendment and Repeal) Act 1993, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, fix the day on which this proclamation is published in the Government Gazette as the day on which the provisions of that Act, other than Divisions 4 and 6 of Part 2, come into operation.
