2 Meat Industry Amendment (No. 3) No. 188, 1993 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Meat Industry Amendment Regulation (No. 3) 1993 . ˙ Amended regulation 2. The Meat Industry Regulation 1973 is amended as set out in this regulation. ˙ Amendment of s.246 (Source of carcasses, putrefied carcasses and other animals) 3. Section 246(1)— insert— ‘ (c) a sheep slaughtered for pet food with the permission of an inspector under section 113 of the Act. ’. ˙ Replacement of s.247 4. Section 247— omit, insert— ˙ ‘Identification of offal and certain other things by staining ‘247. A person must not remove, or permit to be removed, from a kangaroo depot— (a) offal; or (b) the meat of a sheep; or (c) the flesh of a kangaroo; that has not been identified by staining in accordance with section 233. ’.
