REGULATIONS UNDER THE MEAT EXPORT CONTROL ACT 1935-1936.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Meat Export Control Act 1935-1936.

Amendments of the Meat Export Control (Staff) Regulations. 

Rate of travelling allowance.

1. Regulation 11 of the Meat Export Control (Staff) Regulations is amended by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:—

“(2.) Travelling allowance payable to an officer stationed in London shall be paid in English currency.”.

2. After regulation 11 of the Meat Export Control (Staff) Regulations the following regulations are inserted:—

Allowance to Executive officer. London.

“11a. The Executive Officer of the Board stationed in London shall be paid an allowance at the rate of One hundred and fifty pounds per annum in English currency.

Allowance whilst travelling to take up appointment.

“11b. An officer may be paid an allowance at a rate not exceeding Fifteen shillings per day whilst travelling overseas to take up the duties of his office.”.

Application of Financial Emergency Act.

3. Regulation 13 of the Meat Export Control (Staff) Regulations is repealed.

Amendment of the Schedule.

4. The Schedule to the Meat Export Control (Staff) Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting in Table A, after the words and figures—

..”; and

(b)by inserting in Table B, after the words and figures—
