REGULATION UNDER THE MEAT EXPORT CONTROL ACT 1935-1946.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Meat Export Control Act 1935-1946.

Amendment of the Meat Export Control (Fees, Salaries and Expenses) Regulations.

The Meat Export Control (Fees, Salaries and Expenses) Regulations are amended by adding the following regulation:—

Travelling allowance of members travelling abroad.

“11. Notwithstanding anything in these Regulations, where the Chairman or a member of the Board has been or is required to travel outside Australia on the business of the Board, he shall receive a travelling allowance at the rate payable from time to time to an officer of the Commonwealth Public Service on an equivalent salary, when that officer is travelling outside Australia on official duties.”.
