REGULATIONS UNDER THE MEAT EXPORT CONTROL ACT 1935-1936.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Meat Export Control Act 1935-1936.

Amendment of the Meat Export Control (Fees and Expenses)

Regulations. 

Commencement.

1. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the twenty-second day of March, 1938.

2.After regulation 4 of the Meat Export Control (Fees and Expenses) Regulations, the following regulation is added:—

Fees and travelling expenses of chairman overseas.

“5. Notwithstanding anything contained in regulations 3 and 4 of these Regulations, where the Chairman of the Board is engaged overseas on such business of the Board as the Board determines, he shall be entitled to receive—

(a) a fee of Five pounds sterling for each day upon which he is engaged on that business;

(b) the amounts actually incurred by him in respect of the cost of conveyance; and

(c) travelling allowance at the rate of One pound sterling per day while travelling on board ship and at the rate of Two pounds sterling per day when not travelling on board ship.”.
