(Amendment)

  

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and under section 4 of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 and after taking into consideration the recommendation with respect to the amount to be prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 7 (1) (b) of the Meat Chicken Levy Act 1969 made to the Minister of State for Primary Industries and Energy by the members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council (being the Council established by the Exotic Animal Disease Control Act 1989) nominated by the National Farmers’ Federation, make the following Regulations under the Meat Chicken Levy Act 1969.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1991.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Meat Chicken Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (Prescribed amounts: subsection 7 (1) of the Act)

3.1   Subregulation 4 (2):

Omit “0.005 cent”, substitute “0.013706 cent”.
