Meat Chicken Levy Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and having taken into consideration the last recommendation with respect to the amount to be prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 7 (1) (b) of the Meat Chicken Levy Act 1969 made to the Minister for Primary Industries and Energy by the members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council nominated by the National Farmers’ Federation, make the following Regulations under that Act.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Meat Chicken Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (Prescribed amounts: subsection 7 (1) of the Act)

3.1   Subregulation 4 (2):

Omit “0.02 cent”, substitute “0.016 cent”.
