Meat Chicken Levy Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, and having considered, with respect to the amount to be prescribed for the purposes of paragraph 7 (1) (b) of the Meat Chicken Levy Act 1969, the last recommendation made to the Minister for Primary Industries and Energy by the members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council nominated by the National Farmers’ Federation, make the following Regulations under that Act.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations are taken to have commenced on 1 July 1994.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Meat Chicken Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 4 (Prescribed amounts: subsection 7 (1) of the Act)

3.1   Subregulation 4 (2):

Omit “0.018 cent”, substitute “0.016 cent”.

4.   Repeal of Statutory Rules 1994 No. 162

4.1   Statutory Rules 1994 No. 162 is repealed.
