AND DAIRY PRODUCE [ASSENTED TO 6TH DECEMBER, 1904.1 BE ENCOURAGE- A: ; ; D~ ~ ~ T it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,. ACT OF 1904. by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same,. as follows ;- Short title 1. This Act may be cited as "The 11Ieat and IJair.Y a co n n d struction Produce Encouragement Acts Amendment Act of 1904,"" of Act. and shall be read as one with "The ]Jleat and Dairy Produce Encouragement Acts, lA93 to 1901,"* and may be cited together with those ..\ cts as " The Meat and Dairy Produce En?onragement Acts, 1893 to 1904." Repayment of 2. The sums of money now standing to the credit of" cmroedneitysof to the Meat Fund in the several accounts of the Districts of Meat Fund. the State-namely, Southern District, £12,336 lIs. 9d.; Central District, £14,332 9s. 6d.; Carpentaria District,. £2,S33 Is. 2d.-and being amounts which have from time· to time been paid as tax and placed to the credit of the Meat Fund in pursuance of " The ~ Meat and Dairy Pro-· duce Encoul'agement Act of 1b93,"t and which have not been required for the purpose of advances in aid of meat works under the said Act, shall be repaid to the holders of' certificates representing payments of such tax rateably in proportion to the respective amounts of the certificates" issued in connection with each such District. The Minister shall from time to time be allovyed credit for any moneys paid by him in pursuance of this· Act, and the receipts of the persons to whom such pay- ments are made shall be a sufficient discharge to the- Minister.
