To amend the Meat Ordinance 1931, as amended by the

Ordinances Revision (Health Commission) Ordinance 1975.

1 . ( 1 ) This O r d i n a n c e may be cited as the Meat Ordinance 1976 .*

( 2 ) T h e Meat Ordinance 1931 -1968 , f as amended by the

Ordinances Revision (Health Commission) Ordinance 1975 ,$ is in

this Ord inance referred to as the Pr incipal Ord inance .

( 3 ) Schedule 2 to the Ordinances Revision (Health Commission)

Ordinance 1975 is a m e n d e d —

( a ) by omit t ing from C o l u m n 1 the words and figures "Meat

Ordinance 1 9 3 1 - 1 9 6 8 " ; and

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel-also accessible at

( b ) by omit t ing from C o l u m n 2 the words and figures "Meat

Ordinance 1931-1975 ".

( 4 ) T h e Pr incipal Ord inance , as a m e n d e d by this Ord inance , m a y

be cited as the Meat Ordinance 1931-1976 .

2 . Sect ion 8 of the Pr inc ipa l Ord inance is amended by omi t t ing the

words " ten m i l e s " and substi tut ing t h e figures a n d word

" 16 k i l o m e t r e s " .
