AN ORDINANCE

To amend the Meat Ordinance 1931-1940.

BE it ordained by the Governor-General in and over the Executive Council, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Commonwealth of Australia, with the advice of the Federal Seat of Government Acceptance Act 1909-1938 and the Seat of

Government (Administration) Act 1910-1947, as follows:—

1.— (1.) This Ordinance may be cited as the Meat Ordinance Short title

(2.) The Meat Ordinance 1931-1940 is in this Ordinance referred to as the Principal Ordinance.

(3.) The Principal Ordinance, as amended by this Ordinance, may be cited as the Meat Ordinance 1931-1950.

2. Section four of the Principal Ordinance is amended by Definitions,

omitting from the definition of " authorized person" the words " the ac t " and inserting in their stead the words " acts of the kind ".

3. Section eleven of the Principal Ordinance is amended by Power to inserting in sub-section (2.), after the words "Meat Inspector", carcasses. the words " or other authorized person ".
