A worker suffered injury by accident arising out of and in the course of his employment resulting in a period of incapacity. At the end of this period of incapacity he received in a lump sum the balance of weekly payments up to the date of his recovery and executed an agreement acknowledging the amount paid him by way of compensation and containing a release and discharge of the employer from all further claims in respect of the accident.
