1. The applicant requires an extension of time within which to seek special leave to appeal from a judgment of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of New South Wales (Meagher JA, Leeming and White JJA agreeing), refusing an extension of time for the applicant to file a notice of appeal and dismissing the proposed appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court of New South Wales (Slattery J).

2. There is insufficient reason to doubt the correctness of the decision of the Court of Appeal. Accordingly, it would be futile to grant an extension of time.

3. Special leave to appeal is refused.
