Max Brenner - Australian Capital Territory - Enterprise Agreement 2011-2015.

[1] MB Australia Pty Ltd (“the applicant”) has filed an application for the approval of a single-enterprise agreement titled the Max Brenner - Australian Capital Territory - Enterprise Agreement 2011-2015 (“the Agreement”). In proceedings today, I canvassed a range of queries and concerns about the Agreement in relation to matters including, but not limited to, better off overall considerations and conformity with the National Employment Standards.

[2] Having raised such matters, Mr Agnew, solicitor, submitted, following an adjournment for discussion with his client’s representative, that the applicant did not wish to proceed with the application for the approval of the Agreement. As a notice of discontinuance was then tendered, the proceedings are now concluded.
