Maternity Leave (Commonwealth Employees)

Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Maternity Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Act 1973.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Maternity Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s.48.]

2.   Schedule 1 (Prescribed authorities—bodies corporate)

2.1   Item 24:

Omit the item.

3.   Schedule 2a (Prescribed authorities—companies)

3.1   Omit items 1a, 1b, 2 and 3, substitute:

“2 Australian and Overseas Telecommunications Corporation Limited

3 Australian Defence Industries Limited

4 Commonwealth Serum Laboratories Limited

5 Snowy Mountains Engineering Corporation Limited”.
