Maternity Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I. THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Maternity Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Act 1973.

1. Amendment

1.1 The Maternity Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2. Schedule 2a (Prescribed authorities—companies)

2.1 Before item 1. insert:

“1a Australian Defence Industries Ltd.”.

3. Application

3.1 The amendment made by subregulation 2.1 has effect in relation to Australian Defence Industries Ltd. as if the Maternity Leave (Commonwealth Employees) Regulations as amended bythese Regulations had effect on and from 3 May 1989.
