Application for approval of the Mater Health Services Administrative Employees' Enterprise Agreement 2014.

[1] An application has been made for approval of an enterprise agreement known as the Mater Health Services Administrative Employees' Enterprise Agreement 2014 (the Agreement). The Application was made pursuant to s.185 of the Fair Work Act 2009 (the Act). It has been made by Mater Misericordiae Health Services Brisbane Limited. The agreement is a single enterprise agreement.

[2] On 13 July 2015, the Employer provided undertakings to Fair Work Commission. Correspondence from the Australian Municipal and Clerical Services Union – Together Queensland Branch stating they are in agreement with these undertakings. These undertakings are attached to the Agreement and taken to be a term of the Agreement.

[3] In light of the Employer’s undertakings, I am satisfied that each of the requirements of ss186, 187 and 188 as are relevant to this application for approval have been met.

[4] The agreement is approved. In accordance with s.54(1) it will operate from 20 July 2015. The nominal expiry date of the agreement is 31 August 2016.
