Marriage Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Marriage Act 1961.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 August 1990.

Fees

2. Regulation 74 of the Marriage Regulations is amended by omitting from subparagraph (5b) (a) (i) “7” and substituting “14”.

Fifth Schedule

3. The Fifth Schedule to the Marriage Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from item 11 “20.00” and substituting “30.00”:

(b) by omitting from item 12 “55.00” and substituting “65.00”:

(c) by omitting from paragraph (a) of item 12a “$10” and “$5” and substituting “$12” and “$6” respectively;

(d) by omitting from paragraph (a) of item 12b “$10” and “$5” and substituting “$12” and “$6” respectively;

(e) by omitting from item 13 “55.00” and substituting “65.00”;

(f) by omitting from item 14 “20.00” and substituting “25.00”;

(g) by omitting from item 15 “20.00” and substituting “25.00”.
