1 Name
This is the Marriage (Celebrancy qualifications or skills) Amendment Determination 2016 (No. 2).
2 Commencement
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under regulation 37G of the Marriage Regulations 1963.

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Schedule 1—Amendments
Marriage (Celebrancy qualifications or skills) Determination 2009
1 Paragraph 4(b)
Repeal the paragraph, substitute:
(b) a Certificate IV in Celebrancy, awarded by a registered training organisation, that includes either:
(i) all the units mentioned in the following table; or

(ii) all the units mentioned in the following table; or

2 Subsection 5(3)
Omit “table”, substitute “tables”.
3 Paragraphs 5(3)(e) and (f)
Repeal the paragraphs, substitute:
(e) the forms approved by the Minister for the provisions of the Marriage Act 1961 referred to in paragraphs 119(3)(b) to (e) and (i) of that Act;
(f) the forms (if any) approved by the Minister under subsection 119(1) of the Marriage Act 1961 for the purpose of any of the following provisions of that Act:
(i) section 12;
(ii) section 15;
(iii) section 16;
(iv) subsection 42(5A).
4 Subsection 5(3A)
Repeal the subsection.
