Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to amend the Water Traffic Regulations—NSW to increase certain fees relating to aquatic licences, the registration of vessels and the licensing of drivers of vessels.
These fee increases take account of the annual increase in the Consumer Price section 38 (the general regulation-making power), in particular section 38 (3) (b) and (c).

Index and, in some cases, double certain fees.

1. Name of Regulation

   This Regulation is the Water Traffic Amendment (Fees)

   Regulation 2001.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 October 2001.

   The Water Traffic Regulations—NSW are amended as set out in

   Schedule 1.
