Water Traffic Amendment (Fees)

Regulation 1996

Maritime Services Act 1935

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Maritime Services Act 1935.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to increase:

(a)	certain fees for an aquatic licence, and
(b)	the fee for the registration of a registrable vessel, and
(c)	the fee for recording acquisition of the control of a registrable vessel, and
(d)	the fee for the issue, renewal or replacement of trade plates, and
(e)	certain fees for general and commercial licences to navigate at speed,

set out in the Water Traffic Regulations—N.S.W.
This Regulation is made under the Maritime Services Act 1935, including
section 38 (the general regulation-making power, in particular, section 38

(2) (fi) and (3) (b)).

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 September 1996.

3 Notes

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

4 Amendment of Water Traffic Regulations-N.S.W.

The Water Traffic Regulations—N.S.W are amended by omitting from each provision of those Regulations specified in Column 1 the matter specified opposite that provision in Column 2 and by inserting instead the matter specified opposite that provision in Column 3.
