MARITIME SERVICES ACT 1935—REGULATION
(Repeal of the Wharf Management and Storage Regulation 1978)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Maritime Services Act 1935, has been pleased to approve the Regulation made by the Maritime Services Board of New South Wales and set forth hereunder.

The Maritime Services Board of New South Wales, in pursuance of the Maritime Services Act 1935, hereby makes the following Regulation:
Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 1 October 1991.
Repeal
2. The Wharf Management and Storage Regulation 1978 is repealed.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to repeal the Wharf Management and. Storage Regulation 1978. That Regulation provides for the appointment of an operations supervisor for the stay of a vessel in port, the conduct of shipping operations in relation to such a vessel, the keeping of relevant records, the giving of various notices relating to those operations and the imposition of wharf storage charges.
Those provisions are now obsolete: furthermore, wharf storage charges are now
regulated under the Marine Port Charges Act 1989.
