MARITIME SERVICES ACT 1935—REGULATION
(Repeal of the Port of Sydney (Naval Practice) Regulations—N.S.W.)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,
and in pursuance of the Maritime Services Act 1935, has been pleased to approve the Regulation made by the Maritime Services Board of New South Wales and set forth hereunder.

The Maritime Services Board of New South Wales, in pursuance of the
Maritime Services Act 1935, hereby makes the following Regulation:
Commencement
1. This Regulation commences on 1st October, 1991.
Repeal
2. The Port of Sydney (Naval Practice) Regulations—N.S.W. are
repealed.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Regulation is to repeal the Port of Sydney (Naval Practice) Regulations—N.S.W. The Regulations prohibit vessels entering the Rose Bay and Lady Bay areas of Sydney Harbour while naval practice is being carried out. Naval practice is no longer carried out in those areas. Consequently, the Regulations are obsolete.
