MARITIME SERVICES ACT 1935—REGULATION

(Relating to fees)

NEW SOUTH WALES

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,

and in pursuance of the Maritime Services Act 1935, has been pleased to approve the Regulation made by the Maritime Services Board of New South Wales and set forth hereunder.

The Maritime Services Board of New South Wales, in pursuance of the

Maritime Services Act 1935, hereby makes the following Regulation:

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 1 August 1992.

Amendment

2. The Water Traffic Regulations—N.S.W. are amended by omitting from the Regulation specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this clause the matter specified opposite that Regulation in Column 2 of that Schedule and by inserting instead the matter specified opposite that Regulation in Column 3 of that Schedule.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Water Traffic Regulations—

N.S.W.:

(a) to increase certain fees for an aquatic licence; and

(b) to increase the fee for the registration of a registrable vessel; and

(c) to increase the fee for a general or commercial licence to navigate at speed;

and

(d) to increase the fee for a duplicate licence to navigate at speed.
