His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Maritime Services Act 1935.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase the fees set out in the Management of

Waters and Waterside Lands Regulations—N.S.W. in relation to:

(a)	occupation licences for boatsheds or similar business activities, and
(b)	private occupation licences (that is, licences other than for boatsheds or similar business activities), and

Agreement Implementation (GST) Act 2000 (which, as a transitional measure, allows fees determined by or in accordance with an Act or statutory rule to be increased to account for any GST payable on the supply of the service to which the fee relates) is no longer to apply to these fees.

(c) applications for exemptions.
This fee increase takes account of an annual increase in the Consumer Price Index
and, where applicable, amounts of GST that are now payable for the supply of

certain services.

This Regulation is the Management of Waters and Waterside Lands

Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2000.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 October 2000.
