Regulation 1996

Maritime Services Act 1935

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Maritime Services Act 1935.

Explanatory note

The object of this Regulation is to increase fees as set out in the

Management of Waters and Waterside Lands Regulations—N.S.W. for:

(a)	existing and new occupation licences for boatsheds or similar business activities, and
(b)	existing and new private occupation licences (that is, licences other than for boatsheds or similar business activities), and
(c)	initial inspections and inspections associated with applications for exemptions, and
(d)	licences on relocated moorings, and
(e)	new vessels on the same moorings, and
(f)	special attendances, and
(g)	the transfer of licences.

This Regulation is made under the Maritime Services Act 1935, including section 38 (the general regulation-making power, in particular, section 38 (3) (b) and (c)).

1. Name of Regulation

   This Regulation is the Management of Waters and Waterside

   Lands Amendment (Fees) Regulation 1996.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 September 1996.

3 Notes

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.

1. Amendment of Management of Waters and Waterside Lands Regulations—N.S.W.

   The Management of Waters and Waterside Lands Regulations— N.S.W are amended by omitting from each provision of those Regulations specified in Column 1 the matter specified opposite that provision in Column 2 and by inserting instead the matter specified opposite that provision in Column 3.
