Marine Safety (General) Amendment
(Fees) Regulation 2010

Marine Safety Act 1998
The Administrator, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following
Regulation under the Marine Safety Act 1998.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase certain fees payable under the Marine Safety Act
1998. The fees being increased relate to the following:
| (a) | vessel registration (other than registration of personal watercraft and certain fishing vessels), |
| (b) | general and young adult personal watercraft driving licences, |
| (c) | general and young adult boat driving licences. |
This Regulation is made under the Marine Safety Act 1998, including sections 37 (2) (k) and
137 (the general regulation-making power).

1 Name of Regulation
This Regulation is the Marine Safety (General) Amendment (Fees)
Regulation 2010.
2 Commencement
This Regulation commences on 2 August 2010 and is required to be published on the NSW legislation website.

Omit the following:
(i) vessels of not more than 3 metres in length 48 (ii) for each additional 0.5 metre in length (or part) 8.80 (up to a
maximum
registration
fee of 533)
Insert instead:
(i) vessels of not more than 3 metres in length 55.50 (ii) for each additional 0.5 metre in length (or part) 8.80 (up to a
maximum
registration
fee of
540.50)
