1Name

This is the Marine Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law Amendment (School Vessels) Regulation 2014.

2Commencement

This instrument commences on 2 January 2015.

3Authority

This instrument is made under the Marine Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law Act 2012.

4Schedules

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Marine Safety (Domestic Commercial Vessel) National Law Regulation 2013

1  After paragraph 10(1)(b)

Insert:

                  (ba)  if it is:

                             (i)  owned by an agency of the government of a State or Territory; and

                            (ii)  used by a primary or secondary school for curricular or extra‑curricular activities for students of a primary or secondary school; or

2  Subparagraph 16(4)(b)(i)

Omit “14(1)”, substitute “16(1)”.
