Marine Safety Amendment (Fees) Regulation

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following

Regulation under the Marine Safety Act 1998.

Explanatory note

The objects of this Regulation are:

(a) to increase certain fees payable under the Marine Safety Act 1998, and

(b)

to remove certain fees payable to the State in relation to matters arising under the Commonwealth domestic commercial vessel national law.

This Regulation is made under the Marine Safety Act 1998, including sections 9M, 19K (1), 37 (2) (k) and
137 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Marine Safety Amendment (Fees) Regulation 2018.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2018 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.
