Marine Safety Act 2010

Marine Safety Amendment (Expiry Date) Interim Regulations 2018

The Lieutenant-Governor as the Governor's deputy, with the advice of the Executive Council, makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is—

(a)to amend the Marine Safety Regulations 2012 to change the expiry date of certain regulations; and

(b)to revoke the Marine Safety Amendment (Expiry Date) Interim Regulations 2017.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 309 and 310 of the Marine Safety Act 2010.

3Commencement

(1)These Regulations (except regulation 6) come into operation on 12 July 2018.

(2)Regulation 6 comes into operation on 11 July 2019.

4Revocation

The Marine Safety Amendment (Expiry Date) Interim Regulations 2017[1] are revoked.

5Expiry of Part 13

In regulation 180 of the Marine Safety Regulations 2012[2], for "14 July 2018" substitute "12 July 2019".

6Revocation of Part 13

Part 13 of the Marine Safety Regulations 2012 is revoked.

7Expiry

These Regulations expire on 12 July 2019.
