The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to increase marine infringement penalties.

2. Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under sections 60 and

105 of the Marine Act 1988.

3. Principal Regulations

In these Regulations, the Marine (Procedures)
Regulations 19891 are called the Principal

Regulations.

4. Amended Marine Infringement Penalties

For the Table in regulation 301 of the Principal
Regulations substitute—
